I can't believe it's already July! What? We have been doing "light" school, which means: sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn't. I decided not to stress, if one or two days out of five, just doesn't happen! Lalalicious has been practicing addition, and a little bit of subtraction. She loves using our new unifix cubes to help her count! Obi Wan likes to use them as a lightsaber.... eh hem.
We've also been going through Reading The Easy Way by
123Homeschool4Me. Beth put a fantastic, simple and fun reading program together! She has Preschool, Kindergarten and First grade levels as well as a summer fun pack for First grade. We're zipping through the preschool level, Licious loves the games and stories! Check out her sight, she also has tons of free printables and ideas!
In other news, we had our first beach trip and went to see Monters U. The kids got to take a "scare class" at the Disney store too!
