It's official! We have a reader!

Well, Lalalicious has officially read her first book front to back, on her own!! These moments are special and exciting. I will admitt, when I first saw and looked through the BOB books by scholastic...I was like, really? They charge money for this? They are so simple. But, I see now, that's the point. Being skeptical, I looked up some reviews and resources online. I found FANTASTIC FREE printables that go with the BOB books on: 3dinosaurs, and rockabyebutterfly I loved the worksheets, so I printed them up, without the books...and started using them right away. It was the first time that Licious could sound out and read actual words. So I thought, hmmm, maybe there's something to this! Finally I caved and got the first two book sets, and made sure I had a good sampling of worksheets from each. (you see my color coordinated file folders under the set, to keep worksheets in..) There are several other sights that have worksheets as well, and are listed on the two I mentioned. Lalalicious really enjoys the different activities, and I am pround as can be!
